Since Sign-a-mateWEB™ is a pay-for-use service, you are required to provide some personal information to gain access to the web site’s content and services.

Registering as a user of Sign-a-mateWEB™ gives you the ability to purchase "Usage Tokens", which then allows you to use the services provided by Sign-a-mateWEB™.  The only information required is your e-mail address, a unique user name, and a password. You must also provide credit card information to purchase usage tokens (see "Credit Card Information" below).

With your permission, we may occasionally send e-mail to notify you about important changes to the site or new services from us.  If you would rather not receive these e-mail notifications, you can simply indicate that preference either when you register or at any later time by accessing your password protected personal user information on our Web site.  We do reserve the right to contact you about issues concerning the Web site that we judge to be serious in nature or issues concerning your specific user account.

The other information we collect (if you choose to provide it) is your name, your company, your address and your phone and fax numbers.  We clearly indicate on the User Information page that this information is optional.  We may use this information for generating aggregate demographic statistics that will help us know how to better market our service.  If you do choose to provide any of the optional information, we reserve the right to use it to contact you if we have an issue with your account and we cannot successfully contact you by e-mail.  If you choose to provide this information, you can modify it at any time by accessing the User Information page on the Web site and updating or deleting the information.  If you delete the information, it may still exist on our backup media, but we promise not to access your private information for any reason other than to restore our database in case of a system failure.

Each time you login to our Web site, we collect the date and time you logged in and the IP address you logged in from.  We also keep cumulative statistics of your usage of the Web site.

If you are under the age of 18, you must not provide your name, e-mail address, or any other identifying information without the consent of your parent or guardian, or as otherwise provided for by applicable law.

In order to use Sign-a-mateWEB™, you must purchase "Usage Tokens" online with a credit card. Sign-a-mateWEB™ uses VeriSign's secure credit card processing site to collect any of your personal information required to authorize your credit card purchase, including the card number. WE NEVER SEE THE NUMBER, and therefore, we do not store it in our database. We simply receive a confirmation from VeriSign that your purchase was approved or disapproved. We then credit your user account the appropriate amount of usage tokens.

All personal data you enter on the Sign-a-mateWEB™ site is held with the utmost care and is protected with industry standard methods of data protection including firewalls and password protection. Also, we will never release any of your personal information to a third party without your express permission.  We may, however, release aggregate statistics related to Sign-a-mateWEB™'s use.  These statistics will never contain personal information.

You are responsible for all actions taken with your user name and password, including use of the site which consumes Usage Tokens.  Therefore, you should not disclose your user uame and password to any third parties.  If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personally identifiable information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf.  Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately contact us at Service@Sign-a-mateWEB.com .

As you may know, "cookies" are small pieces of information that some Web sites store on your computer's hard drive when you visit them. Sign-a-mateWEB™ uses what is commonly called a "session" cookie to keep up with your unique session as you move from page to page on our Web site. This cookie is nothing more than a unique number that has no intrinsic meaning. Since it is a session cookie, it is deleted when you end your browser session. We also use a cookie to let us know if you have already seen our "Free Trial" popup within the last 24 hours.  We don't want to bother you with an annoying popup window unnecessarily.
